My name is Daisy, and Toebeanstravels began after my husband and I welcomed our baby in November last year. As a GP, I’m no stranger to supporting new parents and caring for little ones, but learning to look after my own tiny human 24/7 has been a completely different, humbling, and heart‑melting adventure.
Having enjoyed countless trips together to over 40 countries, the thought of travelling with a newborn felt equal parts daunting and exciting. Yet our first journey with our 6‑week‑old to Lanzarote proved something wonderful: with thoughtful planning, realistic expectations, and the right accessories, travelling as new parents isn’t just doable, it can be joyful, grounding, and incredibly fulfilling.
This blog is where I share everything I learn along the way: practical tips rooted in both medical knowledge and lived experience, honest reflections on the realities of travelling with a baby, and my favourite pieces of gear that actually make a difference.
Whether you're preparing for your first trip with your little one or seeking reassurance that adventure is still within reach, I hope you find confidence, community, and inspiration here.
Let’s explore the world together, tiny toebeans and all, and make unforgettable memories with the people we love most.
